What suggestions do you have for integrating cultural landscapes and heritage into the architectural curriculum?
While I’m not fully familiar with the architecture programmes in other cities, I’ve come to realise that each school in India offers unique approaches to teaching conservation architecture. For instance, schools in mountainous regions focus on hill house architecture, while those in Rajasthan teach about Rajasthani architecture. Given India’s vast diversity, it might be beneficial to have a common course that reflects this broad range, especially since students from all over the country travel to different cities to study architecture.
